NATO Secretary General ignores Azerbaijani Foreign Minister
Yesterday with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with the NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. The latter forgot to greet the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, who was also attending the meeting.
According to the Azerbaijani news agency "1news.az" referring to the Azerbaijani service of the BBC, Aliyev, together with the Azerbaijani representatives, entered the room where the meeting was to be held. Azerbaijani President greeted the NATO members, and turning to NATO Secretary General Rasmussen, who forgot to greet the members of the Azerbaijani delegation, said: "And that's our team."
"Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov is among the Azerbaijani representatives, as well as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, head of the foreign relations department of the Presidential Administration Novruz Mamedov and other officials," the agency states.
