Energy produced by Armenia must be used rationally – Poghosyan
The energy produced by Armenia must be used rationally, chairman of the Union of Consumers Armen Poghosyan told reporters in Yerevan.
According to him, Armenia is a favorable country in terms of energy and it must export energy. It will have a positive impact on inflation, he added.
Poghosyan also said that setting differentiated prices for various strata of society is one of ways to combat inflation.
Economist Vilen Khachatryan said for his part that inflation is conditioned by a number of internal and external factors. According to him, Armenia’s neighboring countries also suffer inflation and Armenia cannot escape inflation as it imports some goods from them.
