Armenian, NKR FMs discuss Azeri subversion
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Nagorno-Karabakh Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan met today in Yerevan, Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service said.
The two sides discussed the results of last year’s cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh and the work to be carried out in the current year.
The top diplomats of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh summed up the 2013 activities aimed at advancing the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and discussed the current situation in the negotiation process caused by Azerbaijan’s destructive position.
Ministers Nalbandian and Mirzoyan also discussed the latest attempt of Azeri subversive groups to infiltrate the territory of Karabakh, as a result of which Armenian junior sergeant Armen Hovhannisyan was killed. The Ministers called Azerbaijan’s actions “another expression of provocative and irresponsible policy and an attempt to hinder the talks between the Armenian and Azeri Foreign Ministers slated for this week.”
