Answer of IRI ambassador to Azerbaijan on cooperation of Iran and Turkey in NKR conflict settlement process
“The fact that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is not settled hinders the security of the region,” Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Ayin told, reports the IRNA news agency.
To the question of the Azerbaijani Trend news agency whether it is possible that Iran and Turkey cooperate in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process, the ambassador has noted in particular, “We believe that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict can be settled in a peaceful way by using the potentials of the region. I find it important that the countries of the region were involved in the process of the conflict settlement.”
Recently, Mohsen Pak Ayin in the interview with the IRNA news agency has touched upon the official Tehran’s disposition in connection with the NKR conflict and had noted, “Iran’s disposition is that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict undermines not only the regional security but also hinders the implementation of big economic projects.”
