Bako Sahakyan: Azerbaijan’s behavior is destructive and terrorist
On Jan. 22, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan, accompanied by the republic’s leadership, visited St. Jacob Church in the capital Stepanakert to attend the memorial service for NKR Defense Army junior sergeant Armen Hovhannisyan, who heroically died while throwing back the attack of Azerbaijani subversive subdivisions.
On behalf of the NKR authorities and people, President Sahakyan expressed deep condolences to Hovhannisyan’s family on the irretrievable loss of the young soldier.
According to the President, Armen Hovhannisyan and his brothers in arms demonstrated unstinting devotion to the Fatherland and excellent level of mastering military science, once again proving that the Artsakh Republic armed forces are able to stop any act of the enemy's aggression.
President Sahakyan called Azerbaijan’s behavior highly destructive and terrorist, underlining that it was a serious blow to the maintenance of stability and peace in the region and the efforts of the international community aimed at the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the press service of Karabakh President reported.
