Zhamanak: Why Armenian government no longer uses Ucom services?
Media reports said yesterday that the Armenian government no longer uses the services of Ucom Internet provider, Zhamanak writes.
ABC-Beeline joint venture won the tender several days ago. According to the newspaper, that company’s services are more affordable than those of Ucom.
Head of Ucom marketing department Ashot Barseghyan confirmed that information to Zhamanak. He noted that there is nothing unusual about it.
“This is normal. We have participated in tenders since 2009, but we did not win every year,” he said.
