ICRC representatives meet with Armenian POW
Representatives of the Baku Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have met with Armenian POW Hakob Injighulyan and the Armenian family, Zara Amatuni, head of communication programs of the ICRC Yerevan Office, told Panorama.am.
POW Injighulyan received information about his family and there was an exchange of information, she said.
Mrs Amatuni also said that the head of the ICRC Yerevan Office met with Injighulyan’s family several days ago.
On the night of August 7, Hakob Injighulyan, an Armenian citizen and an army conscript, crossed the Azeri border and was subsequently captured by Azeri soldiers. According to preliminary information, Injighulyan had lost his bearings on the terrain and inadvertently crossed the line of contact.
