Newly appointed Ambassador of Canada to Armenia John Kyorr presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on January 24, the presidential press service reported.
The President congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in conducting diplomatic mission in our country.

The President noted that there is also certain activity in trade relations. President Serzh Sargsyan and Ambassador Kyorr concurred that these two countries do not have significant discords on major issues and have effective cooperation in international structures. The parties believe that all this is also due to the existing mutual sympathy between the Armenian and Canadian peoples and Armenian community’s certain contribution in Canadian social and political life.
The interlocutors discussed opportunities of developing cooperation, full use of the existing potential and opportunities to strengthen Armenian-Canadian relations in all fields of mutual interest.
