Serzh Sargsyan to pay state visit to Czech Republic
At the invitation of Czech President Miloš Zeman, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will begin a state visit to Czech Republic today, the presidential press service reports.
President Sargsyan will meet with his Czech counterpart in Prague.
A series of cooperation agreements will be signed following a meeting of the Presidents in expanded format.
The Armenian and Czech Presidents will give a joint press conference and attend an Armenian-Czech business forum.
Serzh Sargsyan is also scheduled to meet with President of the Czech Senate Milan Štěch, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka, Chair of the Czech parliament’s Chamber of Deputies Jan Hamáček, Mayor of Prague Tomáš Hudeček and Archbishop of Prague, Cardinal Dominik Duka.
As part of the visit, President Sargsyan will also meet with representatives of the Armenian community.
