James Warlick: Reported death of Armenian soldier is tragic
U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick called tragic the death of an Armenian soldier, Karen Galstyan, reported yesterday.
“The reported death of an Armenian soldier today is tragic. The recent escalation - with deaths on both sides - damages prospects for peace,” he wrote on Twitter.
On Jan. 28, an Armenian soldier, Karen Galstyan, 19, was killed by Azeri sniper fire. He was shot in his head while keeping vigil at a northern military unit of NKR Defense Army. An investigation is being conducted.
