Azerbaijan is in a panic – expert
Currently, Azerbaijan is in unbalanced condition, even in a panic, and this is due to two circumstances: first, Turkey has serious problems in the Middle East and second, Armenia is joining the Customs Union, expert Gagik Harutyunyan told reporters.
According to the expert, the 102nd Russian military base in Gyumri is a restraining factor for the enemy.
“Armenia and Russia have common interests in the region and these interests are evident to other countries – Georgia and Azerbaijan. We have the security problem which is a priority issue for us,” he said.
Harutyunyan also said that the regional situation has changed for the better due to the change of the general geopolitical logic. The expert noted that Armenia should expand ties with Georgia, for instance, try to create a common market with that country.
