Zhoghovurd: Armenian government approves Russian-language document
At the last cabinet meeting, during which the roadmap for Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union was approved, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan promised to publish the text of the document in two days. Although six days have passed, the roadmap text has not been published yet, Zhoghovurd writes.
The press service of the Economy Ministry told Zhoghovurd that the document is still being translated from Russian into Armenian, and will be published soon. “In other words, the Armenian government approved a document written not in the state language but in Russian. The Ministry said that the document was written in the working language of the Customs Union for the purpose of saving time,” the newspaper notes.
