Serzh Sargsyan: I am grateful to Czech President for respecting our decision
We are convinced that different integration processes can be advanced by way of cooperation rather than confrontation, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said at a press conference with Czech President Miloš Zeman while on a state visit to Czech Republic.
According to Armenia’s President, in that sense, the Eastern Partnership can be a bridge contributing to economic integration from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.
“We are committed to making consistent efforts to build more comprehensive Europe without dividing lines,” the President said.
“I am grateful to Mr President for respecting our decision to join the Customs Union. I am grateful to the Czech President for inviting me to attend the Eastern Partnership Summit in Prague on April 24 and I am especially grateful because he appreciates my visit to Prague on April 24 understanding that on that day Armenians worldwide commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide,” Serzh Sargsyan concluded.
