Hraparak: Armenian parliament speaker may take revenge on Zaruhi Postanjyan
Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan may take revenge on Heritage faction head Zaruhi Postanjyan who is in the United States where she is taking a six-month course at Tufts University, Hraparak writes.
“The point is that an MP has no right to be absent for 5-6 months. Hovik Abrahamyan can easily take revenge on the head of Heritage parliamentary faction for moral damage.
Only the speaker is empowered to record that Postanjyan’s absence is for valid reasons if she submits a respective application every second month.
However, Postanjyan can easily remind the speaker about his in-law, head of Prosperous Armenia faction Gagik Tsarukyan who did not attend parliamentary sessions for years, but it was recorded that he was absent for valid reasons," Hraparak notes.
