Karabakh soldier commemorated in Tehran
Artsakh junior sergeant Armen Hovhannisyan, who died on January 20 heroically defending his homeland, has been commemorated in the Iranian capital Tehran, the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
On January 28, the Armenian Club of Tehran hosted a reception dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of Armenian Army. The reception, organized by the Armenian Embassy in Tehran, was attended by officers of Iranian army, diplomats accredited to Iran, military attachés and journalists.
Leaders of Atrpatakan, Tehran and Isfahan Dioceses of Armenian Apostolic Church, spiritual leader of Armenian Catholic community of Iran, ethnic Armenian members of Iranian parliament were also among the invitees.
