Haykakan Zhamanak: Balasanyan to ask President to take measures against Ghukasyan
Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan will soon be received, at his own request, by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
“Judging by recent events in Armenia’s second largest city, Samvel Balasanyan is going to ask the President to take measures against his predecessor, Vardan Ghukasyan, and his son. In all likelihood, Balasanyan’s cup is filled after the armed attack on his house last week, with Ghukasyan and his friends firing shots at his house and promising to order the murder of the current Mayor,” the newspaper writes.
