No-confidence vote discussed in parliament
Four non-coalition forces of Armenian parliament – Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia Party, ARFD and Heritage – plan to hold a vote of no confidence in the government. They discussed the issue at a closed meeting today in the parliament.
After the 1.5-hour discussion, head of Heritage parliamentary faction Ruben Hakobyan told reporters that the meeting was effective and that they agreed earlier that each faction is to present its plan on how to deal with the current situation. He noted that the time was not enough to discuss all four plans today, but opinions were voiced concerning the plans.
“The factions will discuss those plans in the party bodies and a final decision will be made at our next meeting in the coming days,” he said.
