ENA employees stage protest against pension law
Employees of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) staged today a protest outside the company’s head office against the introduction of the compulsory accumulative pension system in Armenia.
They demand to stop compulsory deductions from their salaries for pension. The protest was joined by members of 'I am against Compulsory Pension System' civil initiative. The participants of the protest also demand an explanation why the deductions were done.
Recently, similar protests were held by Yerevan metro employees, staff of the Opera and Ballet Theatre and employees of the South Caucasus Railway Company (SCRC).
