Aravot: Minister to create house-museum
Olympic weightlifting champion, Armenian Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Yuri Vardanyan plans to create a house-museum in his native town Gyumri, where his medals, cups, diplomas and prizes will be displayed.
“Yes, I have such a dream. My dream was born in a very interesting manner as far back as in the late 1970s,” Vardanyan told Hraparak newspaper.
Asked how he thinks his idea will be realized, Vardanyan said that he applied to the Prime Minister and plans to apply to the President for assistance.
