Babayan: U.S. Co-Chair sent an important message
The peace process cannot be effective without Artsakh’s full participation in all phases of the negotiations, spokesperson for Nagorno-Karabakh President David Babayan told Panorama.am.
Mr Babayan’s comment came in response to the latest Twitter message of U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick praising the recent decision by Greek and Turkish Cypriots to begin negotiations. “Why can’t this happen for Nagorno-Karabakh?” the message said.
“The sooner Arstakh is involved in the negotiations the better for all sides. In this context, the U.S. Co-Chair’s statement contains a very important message,” Babayan said.
According to the spokesman, the peace talks should be held in the format ‘Armenia-Artsakh-Azerbaijan,’ as agreed at the Budapest summit.
