Chorrord Ishkhanutyun: Ani Gevorgyan summoned to police
Correspondent of Corrord Ishkhanutyun newspaper Ani Gevorgyan has been summoned to the Internal Security Department of Armenian police and the Special Investigation Service to testify as part of the official investigation into the February 12 incident.
Activists of Armenian National Congress (ANC) were detained in Mashtots Avenue in Yerevan on February 12 while distributing leaflets informing citizens about the ANC rally scheduled for March 1. The head of the Kentron police unit reportedly seized the cell phone of one of the activists, Ani Gevorgyan, and slapped her across the face.
