Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan: Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement can be reached only though peaceful means
“Iran cannot be indifferent towards the conflicts around it,” said the Iranian ambassador to Baku, Mohsen Pakayin in an interview with Iranian news agency IRNA.
Iranian ambassador referring to Tehran’s position on the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict particularly noted, “Border security of Iran is directly connected with the security of other countries of the region. We cannot be indifferent towards the conflicts around us.”
Ambassador Pakayin as well added, “Having a relationship with the parties involved in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and maintaining balanced policy are important factors that contribute to the resolution of the conflict. We are convinced that the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict can be reached only though peaceful means.”
