Contact line monitoring due on February 18
On February 18, in accordance with the agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan at the section of Martakert-Tartar highway.
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and Hristo Hristov (Bulgaria) and staff member of the Office Peter Svedberg.
The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members, the press service of NKR Foreign Ministry reported.
