Minasyan: European integration processes may take new course in post-Soviet space
It is not ruled out that following the Ukraine events, Russia, fearing a domino effect, will speed up the Customs Union process not only with regard to Armenia, but also Belarus and Kazakhstan, political scientist Sergey Minasyan told a news conference in Yerevan.
According to the expert, the European integration processes in the South Caucasus and the post-Soviet space may take a new course following the Ukraine developments.
“This at least means that Armenia will have a possibility to develop comprehensive relations with the European Union,” Minasyan said.
As regards Ukraine, according to the expert, serious events, in particular distribution of power and positions, are expected to happen.
