Commission on Nairit issue to be set up by autumn, NA Speaker says
An interim parliamentary commission on the issue of Nairit plant will be set up by autumn, Armenian National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan said during the discussion of the issue in the parliament.
At the same time, he called for tolerance and restraint, saying that the authorities are in favor of creating the commission.
Meanwhile, ARFD Nikol Aghbalyan Student Association held a protest outside the parliament. The protest participants demanded that MPs support the creation of the commission as they believe that the plant’s relaunch will enable to solve a number of social problems in the country.
