Haykakan Zhamanak: Former NSS deputy director not to return to Armenia
Former first deputy director of Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) Romik Harutyunyan has moved to Romania, and has no plans to return to Armenia, Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
“Harutyunyan was relieved of his post a month ago. According to media reports, his name is believed to be linked with the situation in Armbusinessbank. Harutyunyan was reportedly involved in the investigation into disappearance of large sums from the bank. In particular, he is said to have tried to offer deals to defendants in the case,” the newspaper writes.
