Haykakan Zhamanak: Shant Harutyunyan transferred to Vardashen prison
Tseghakron party leader Shant Harutyunyan arrested following the November 5, 2013 clashes between protesters and security forces in Yerevan was transferred to Vardashen prison from Convicts’ Hospital penal institution, the activist’s wife, Ruzanna Badalyan, told Haykakan Zhamanak yesterday.
Mrs Badalyan noted that on February 21 Harutyunyan filed an application requesting to transfer him to Yerevan-Kentron penal institution, but yesterday he was moved to Vardashen prison. She also said that Shant’s health condition is normal.
