Heritage MP rules out Ukraine events in Armenia
Currently, the Armenian opposition faces the problem of becoming a fully fledged force, MP from Heritage opposition parliamentary faction Tevan Poghosyan told a news conference in Yerevan.
According to Poghosyan, the opposition manages to raise the existing problems via media and social networking websites, however, “to raise the problems is one thing, but to solve them is quite another.”
As regards the Ukraine events, the MP ruled out that similar developments will take place in Armenia because the Euromaidan is a center of various forces’ struggle, while there is no such struggle in Armenia.
“We should learn lessons from the Ukraine events in terms of mechanisms for solving the problems, which are talks and discussions,” Poghosyan concluded.
