Alaverdyan: Injighulyan’s transfer to third country would be best way out
First Ombudsperson of Armenia, chairwoman of Against Legal Arbitrariness NGO Larisa Alaverdyan believes that Azerbaijan is unlikely to take any step to return POW Hakob Injighulyan to Armenia.
Led by the UN, a search is on for a country that will admit the Armenian POW, she told reporters in Yerevan.
“For clear reasons, those who are to be transferred to a third country are treated more mildly. Let’s hope that it will be so in case of Injighulyan,” Mrs Alaverdyan said.
Injighulyan’s transfer to a third country as soon as possible would be the best way out, she concluded.
