Armenia, Serbia set to enhance relations
Armenian-Serbian relations will become deeper in the future. Various steps will be taken in this regard, including the strengthening of the legal-contractual base, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian told a press conference following a meeting with his Serbian counterpart.
According to Nalbandian, the bilateral ties and international issues were discussed at the meeting and the two sides agreed to exert more efforts in order to enhance their cooperation.
“We have 5 bilateral agreements, and one more agreement was signed today,” he said.
Ivan Mrkić said that Armenians have lived in Serbia for centuries and the Armenian and Serbian peoples have friendly relations. According to him, joint programs will be implemented and new agreements will be signed between the two countries.
The Serbian FM also said that during his meeting with Edward Nalbandian they also spoke about Serbian President’s forthcoming visit to Yerevan.
