James Warlick: We look forward to talks with Russia on Nagorno-Karabakh
U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick commented on Twitter on the March 11 meeting between Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
“Talks with FM Nalbandian in Moscow confirm that Armenia seeks a peaceful settlement in Nagorno-Karabakh. Will pursue options for dialogue,” he wrote.
In another message, Warlick said, “Look forward to talks with Russia today on Nagorno-Karabakh. We are resolved to work together with France to support the path to peace.”
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Ambassadors Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, Jacques Faure of France and James Warlick of the United States of America as well as Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk on March 11 in Moscow. Possible ways to advance the Karabakh peace process were discussed. The Co-Chairs presented their impressions of the meeting with Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, which took place yesterday in Paris.
