Mamikon Khojoyan in comparatively satisfactory condition, doctor says
Doctors assess the condition of released captive Mamikon Khojoyan as comparatively satisfactory.
Head of traumatology unit of Yerevan’s St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center Karen Manukyan told Panorama.am that Khojoyan is able to walk and speak.
“He will undergo surgery this week,” the doctor said.
77-year-old Mamikon Khojoyan, a resident of Verin Karmiraghbyur village in Armenia’s Tavush province, was transported from Ijevan Medical Center to Yerevan after being released from Azeri captivity on March 4. He underwent comprehensive medical examination in St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center.
