Pentagon continues to regard Azerbaijan as potentially dangerous country for American military servicemen
Pentagon excluded 15 countries from the list of insecure states, for the service in which American military servicemen get an additional pay, the site of the United States Air Force (USAF) reported.
Thus, Pentagon no longer considers dangerous service in East Timor, Haiti, Liberia, Oman, Rwanda, Tajikistan, United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia and Montenegro.
It is noted that this time the revision refers to the staff of Air Forces of U.S.A. as well.
According to the statement, the next revision of the list will take place on June 1, while before that Azerbaijan together with such countries as Afghanistan, Burundi, Chad, Djibouti, Eritrea, Egypt, Somalia, Syria and others still is considered to be an insecure place for American military personnel.
