Released captive Mamikon Khojoyan to undergo surgery today
Mamikon Khojoyan will undergo surgery today, head of traumatology unit of Yerevan’s St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center Karen Manukyan told Panorama.am.
“Arm surgery will be performed by the method of osteosynthesis,” the doctor said.
77-year-old Mamikon Khojoyan, a resident of Verin Karmiraghbyur village in Armenia’s Tavush province, was transported from Ijevan Medical Center to Yerevan after being released from Azeri captivity on March 4. He underwent comprehensive medical examination in St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center. The man was in critical condition. Traces of violence and a gunshot wound were found on his body.
