Hraparak: Former governor creates ‘alternative municipality’ in Goris
Former governor of Syunik province Suren Khachatryan has become active again, Hraparak writes.
“Like former Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan who created an “alternative municipality,” Suren Khachatryan, who is the head of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Syunik branch, has turned the RPA Goris office into an “alternative municipality.” He receives citizens, settles issues and holds party meetings there. At the mayoral elections in Goris in June, he will do his best for his man to win the elections so as not to lose control of the city,” the newspaper notes.
