Ivan Kukhta: Ukraine is proud of Armenian community
We are very proud of the Armenian community, Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Kukhta told a press conference in Yerevan. The envoy noted that in his opinion, 350,000-400,000 Armenians currently live in Ukraine.
“Our relations date back thousands of years. They have always developed well and will continue to develop in the same way,” Mr Kukhta said, adding that Armenians are represented in all sectors in Ukraine, including in the state sector.
As regards the situation in Ukraine, the Ambassador noted that Ukraine is prepared to negotiate with Russia, the Crimea leadership as well as representatives of international organizations.
“I am convinced that the diplomatic means are not exhausted yet,” he said.
