Aravot: RPA does not hinder its political opponents, Sharmazanov says
The Crimea events were not discussed at the meeting of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Executive Body on Thursday, RPA spokesman Edward Sharmazanov told reporters after the meeting, according to Aravot. Sharmazanov added that Armenia has always been in favor of exercise of peoples’ right to self-determination through free will expression.
As regards the cooperation of the four non-coalition factions, Sharmazanov said that RPA welcomes any consolidation. “The world is moving towards enlargement of parties. We welcome these steps. RPA does not hinder its political opponents. We would be happy if healthy and constructive opposition is formed.”
