Zhamanak: Finance Minister’s Moscow visit costs AMD 2 million
Armenian Finance Minister David Sargsyan has begun a two-day visit to Moscow, Zhamanak writes. According to the newspaper, as decided by the Prime Minister, the expenses of his visit were assessed at AMD 2 million (about USD 5,000).
“It is improbable that a two-day business trip to Moscow will cost USD 5,000,” the newspaper says.
“Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has repeatedly said that there is a need to introduce luxury tax. Perhaps it would be right if the government collected luxury tax on officials’ business trips,” the newspaper adds.
