Non-coalition factions propose creating new ad hoc commission
The four non-coalition factions of Armenian parliament intend to start a signature campaign during the four-day session of National Assembly beginning today in order to put on the agenda a draft to set up a new ad hoc commission, Armenian National Congress (ANC) faction secretary Aram Manukyan told Panorama.am.
The non-coalition MPs propose creating an ad hoc commission to study the legality of establishing additional payments, customs duties and fines for citizens and economic entities by the Armenian government and Yerevan Municipality in 2012-2013 and the substantiation and consequences of increasing the hidden tax burden by means of them. The matter concerns the introduction of speedometers and traffic surveillance cameras, compulsory car insurance, increase in public transport fares, paid parking lots, etc.
