Criminal case opened over death of Armenian soldier
A criminal case was opened over the death of Armenian soldier Garnik Torosyan under Article 104 part 2 point 13 of the Criminal Code (murder committed on the basis of ethnic, racial or religious hatred), spokesperson for Armenian Defense Ministry's Investigative Service Mary Sargsyan told Panorama.am.
No other details are being provided.
On March 24, around 9:50 am, Garnik Torosyan, 22, received a fatal gunshot wound in a frontline position of a military unit in the eastern section of the Line of Contact of Nagorno-Karabakh’s and Azerbaijan’s troops.
