Recently, the site Azerichild.info published a new story "Ermen Love - Shushanik" written by an Azerbaijani author Mahir Gabiloglu. The writing contains a frank Armenofobia and growing hatred towards Armenians.

The story was translated from Azerbaijani language from the Modern.az website, which responded immediately: "The story describes in a fiction form the perfidy of the Armenian women. It’s surprising that the Armenians have shown interest to this story particularly and translated it into Russian and Armenian languages and published it. In this regard, we asked Mahir Gabiloglu to comment on this and to express his opinion: "It was a surprising for me. Apparently, we have hit the target if they have translated it."

As far as it is obvious that neither the editorial staff of the Azerbaijani website, nor the author of the story himself did understand the motives of translating and publishing the story, the editorial staff of the site Azerichild.info decided to come up with an explanation:

"We have to report with regret that we do not know the other works of the author, however, if in those stories as well the author sows Armenophobia in fiction form, we will be grateful for the links. We will translate them too and will publish them on our site.

The civilized society does not understand and does not accept the concept of "collective responsibility"; it does not understand how and based on what the representative of a whole ethnic group can be insidious (good, evil, any other thing). However, it is well aware of the inadmissibility of propagation of xenophobia and inciting ethnic hatred and, therefore, it should not be left in dark; Azerbaijan preaches completely unacceptable values in all levels.

As for the comment of the author, we do not know what publishing his story was aimed at; our goal, however, is fully achieved. It is thanks to you, Mahir, that we have an opportunity to show the world the tolerant Azerbaijan from inside - just as it is in reality.
By the way, it is noteworthy that following Azerichild, in order to popularize and promote the existing Armenophobia propaganda in Azerbaijan, the story was promptly translated and published on other Azerbaijani websites in Russian languages – Zerkalo.az and Strategiya.az.
