Azerbaijan again fails to lead OSCE mission to frontline
On April 2, in accordance with the agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission conducted a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the Hadrut direction, near Horadiz settlement.
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Hristo Hristov (Bulgaria) and Irzhi Aberle (Czech Republic).
From the opposite side of the Line of Contact, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and staff member of the Office Peter Svedberg.
The monitoring passed in accordance with the agreed schedule. The Azeri side did not lead the OSCE Mission to its frontline.
From the Karabakh side, the monitoring mission was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense, the press service of NKR Foreign Ministry reports.
