A short investigation revealed that negative information about Nur and the dismissed head of the presidential administration of Azerbaijan Elnur Aslanov is filtered in Google somehow, the Azerbaijani news portal "Haqqin.az" writes.

The authors of the article believe that this is organized by Elnur Aslanov the newly appointed head of the department of Strategic Planning, Investment and Scientific Potential at the Ministry of Communication and High Technologies of Azerbaijan.

According to the article, the Google search engine in its “News” category presents rather limited information about Nurs which shows up together with the name of Elnur Aslanov.

"Specifying the search word "Elnur Aslanov Nur", "Elnur Aslanov Nurs" in the news section of Google, we either do not find anything or get news published by foreign sites," Haqqin.az reports.

Specifying the search words Farhad Mammadov, and Elnur Aslanov in Google News section, the reader gets puzzled: as instead of new information the old news are presented which are out of topic. The reader of "Haqqin.az" can learn about Nursi only through Armenian sources, like Panorama.am, for example.

Thus, the portal writes, this is what happens: the actual and topical subject that every day is covered by the Azerbaijani information resources does not appear in Google News. But in the same time Google News presents the Armenian sources which speak about the same events in Azerbaijan.

On March 17, Elnur Aslanov, the head of Political Analysis and Information Provision Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan was dismissed. He is appointed the head of the department of Strategic Planning, Investment and Scientific Potential at the Ministry of Communication and High Technologies of Azerbaijan.
