Pension law will be in force until Sept. 30 – PM
The Law on Accumulative Pensions will be in force until September 30, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan told the cabinet meeting on Thursday.
Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan noted that the law will operate in its current form.
According to Tigran Sargsyan, a working group will be set up to bring the law in line with the Constitution. Representatives of the Ministries of Justice, Finance, Labor and Social Issues as well as the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) will be involved in the working group. A legislative package taking into account all the norms mentioned in the Constitutional Court’s decision will be submitted to the parliament.
The Prime Minister urged civil activists to cooperate on the development of the legislative package.
