Armenia - CIS leader in WEF report on ‘‘Global Enabling Trade Report 2014’’
In the latest report of the World Economic Forum (WEF) titled “The Global Enabling Trade Report 2014”, Armenia is on a leading position among the CIS countries and is well ahead of Azerbaijan.
The report, which is published every two years, the situation in the trade area in 138 countries around the world is analyzed, the conditions created for the free exchange of goods and services in the countries are assessed.
According to this rankings Armenia is on the 53rd place, Azerbaijan is on 77th. Georgia is on the 36th place.
In the same time Armenia is the leader among all the CIS countries. The Commonwealth countries are arranged in the following way: Kazakhstan is on the 94th place, Kyrgyzstan on 109th, Russia - 105th, Moldova - 92nd.
Note that in the previous report, Armenia was on the 59th place, and Azerbaijan on 81st.
The rating, this time, is led by Singapore, Hong Kong, Netherlands, New Zealand, Finland, Great Britain, Switzerland, and conclude - Zimbabwe, Guinea, Angola, Venezuela, Chad.
