Baku has not confirmed readiness to receive Armenian delegation
The meeting of the Committee of Chiefs of General Staffs of CIS member states will take place in Baku on April 8.
Asked if Armenia will attend the meeting, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said, “The Secretariat of the Council of CIS Defense Ministers has not received any verbal or written official confirmation from Azerbaijan that it is prepared to ensure the reception of the Armenian delegation.”
According to him, first of all, it implied de facto regulation of all issues concerning unobstructed crossing of the state borders of Azerbaijan and transit countries and implementation of border control and customs procedures.
