Former PM Tigran Sargsyan meets with protesters
Armenia’s former Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with civil activists who staged a protest against the pension reform.
Mr Sargsyan asked the protesters to discuss the issue at the Finance Ministry with the working group set up to draft amendments to the pension law.
“I invite you to a dialogue,” he said, noting that such issues should not be discussed in the street. But his proposal was booed by protesters.
Member of ‘I am against’ civil movement David Manukyan stated that they plan to hold a massive rally on April 12 near Matenadaran.
