Hraparak: Former PAP MP is promised post of Kotayk governor
National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan promised the post of Kotayk governor to Mkhitar Harutyunyan, a former MP, member of Prosperous Armenia Party, owner of Mori Plaza, Hraparak writes. Harutyunyan took loans for construction of Mori Plaza and leased it later because of some problems.
The newspaper notes that Mkhitar Harutyunyan’s nephew, MP David Kocharyan recently opened fire during a quarrel in Hrazdan, “torpedoing that program.” This issue was discussed during Hovik Abrahamyan’s visit to Kotayk. At the same time, Kotayk governor Kovalenko Shahgaldyan said he did not hear about it before and does not want to discuss the matter.
