Azerbaijani Minister cheating Cabinet: In reality, oil production in country has declined
Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev stated at the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, dedicated to the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan in the first quarter, that the oil production in Azerbaijan in the I quarter of 2014 amounted to 10,562 million tons, "which is 255 thousand tons more than it was in 2013 during the same period," Azerbaijani information agency APA reports.
It is noteworthy that, according to the data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan published by "APA", in the first quarter of 2013 the oil production of the country amounted to 10.8 million tons.
Thus, if we compare the data on oil production in January -March 2013 and 2014 it becomes clear that in the first quarter of 2014 oil production in Azerbaijan has not increased, as N. Aliyev insists, but has rather decreased by 238 thousand tons.
