Zhoghovurd: Non-coalition factions to specify future plans
The four non-coalition factions of Armenian parliament will meet today in parliament to specify their future plans, Zhoghovurd writes. The point is that they have expressed different views about their future actions. The aim of today’s meeting is to determine whether they will hold a unified rally on April 28 at Liberty Square.
“So far, only the Armenian National Congress (ANC) has expressed a clear position on the necessity to carry out change of power. ARFD faction is waiting for the response of RPA on its seven-point program. As regards the Prosperous Armenia Party, its position is also indefinite as it only states vaguely that it has no intention to join the coalition. The stance of Heritage party, according to faction secretary Tevan Poghosyan, will become clear at a meeting today,” the newspaper says.
